I just love the ole Gunny, even though it is getting harder for me to hike (errrrrrr climb) down into the Black Canyon where all the great fishing is. The Conejos, the Taylor, all of those places bring back great memories. Then, when I lived in Colorado, I would just take off whenever I got the itch in my casting arm (which was a lot) !!!!

Stuck here down in the southern hemisphere in Earthquake damaged Canterbury NZ I envy you the acess to such beautiful scenery. Here you risk life and limb to fish as the cracks from all the earthquakes hidden by summer growth can be lethal, you have to watch each step, cast and eyes down and look in again before moving! Oh to be free again!
