Just became a member of this board. Live about 25 miles from Ely,MN.(Embarrass). Fish for what ever I can where ever I can, but have a soft spot in my heart of small streams and wild trout.

If I lived in Embarrass and wanted to fish small streams for trout, I'd be driving cross country SE toward the Cloquet River watershed. But there are trout in streams that the DNR hasn't listed yet, and maybe you're fishing some of those.
