I'm in the market for an Orvis Superfine (One Ounce) 6ft.6in, #2, weight fly rod! Must be in excellent condition; and reasonably priced $? ? would also need to be shipped to the UK.

I would be wary of this rod in the old versions. I owned one, a really flat caster compared to others but that is not the reason, we got a few back for breakage at the ferrule. Big fish breakage. That was a long time ago in an Orvis store a long time away...

I'll keep that in mind! Although I'd not heard of any breakages in the superfine one ounce; and I do like a slower actioned rod, similar to the Hardy Classics or a nice cane rod.
