New member from Cape Town

Hi

My name is Imraan, and I have been fly-fishing since 1995. While I have dabbled in various types of fly-fishing, my main interest is in fishing small streams. This is probably good as Cape Town has a few good small streams that are easily accessible. Recently, I have become aware of Tenkara, and am interested in exploring this option.

Fishing wise, things have been pretty bleak as a result of 2 small children. Luckily they are both VERY interested in fishing, and will soon be old enough to join me on the rivers.

Hi Everyone

I forgot to mention that I also have an interest in rod design/building (although to date I have only built one rod) and fly-tying. I have also dabbled in making furled leaders a few years ago (after attending a presentation by Darrel Martin).
