Aloha, Luke and I just got back from our trip to Montana. It was great to see fall colors again.

We fished the Bitterroot and found a variety of trout there.

Browns and westslope cutts.

We hiked to an alpine lake on the Idaho boarder, it was very beautiful.

These were yellowstone cutts planted there.

Luke got a rainbow.

It is called Reynolds Lake, it is a special place.

We spent a day on the Salmon fishing for steelhead.

My father in law got a nice 30" wild west fork hen. It was a very healthy fish.

Luke and I then went to Rock Creek for a couple of days.

Luke got a nice brookie.

I used an October Caddis and this larval stage fly a serendipity.

Hoppers also worked.

Luke got a nice brown.

We had a good time on Rock Creek.

Next we went back to Hamilton and fished the West fork of the bitterroot.

We caught lots of nice fish, even a couple of bull trout.

I found one hole loaded with nice rainbows.

Luke and I were pretty stoked.

We enjoyed the small feeder creeks like Skalkaho.

It was an uplifting experience.

Can't wait to go back and find this fish again. Mems.
