    Roy,
They have the look of some real fish getters. I saw the thread you did on the bubble head minnow. How about doing one on the step by step procedure for tying the nymph patterns when you have the time.

    Re: CCG acrylic flies

    Thanks, all,

    greendrake,
the nymphs are just standard fare with CCG added for strength, otherwise just nymphs, maybe USD & suchlike...
You will note the third pic down, the scud does not appear to be ribbed, it is. The rib is buried under the CCG acrylic.
On the ones where the rib is obvious, the rib is laid over a layer of acrylic with another layer of Clear Cure Goo over that. It's all about light, you know.
    ;)

To get a better imperssion of the CCG, take a look at some of the videos here and let the mind wander toward your flybox.
I'm not advertising here, just pointing a direction.

    Some good video.

AndyW that wee shrimp (outpoint treble #16) is designed for stripping back on an upstream cast into white water for the grilse on the Bush - black squirrel, flashabou, lurex body, two turns fire orange Uni. CCG head; basically a Silver Stoat variant.
    6wt 9footer with 10lb tippet

AndyB, the midge has, again a turn or 2 of fire Orange for the wing cases, simple but illuminating; Nymph Head black bead for depth and a bit of realism, nice eyes :)

    Roy
