I was excited when i saw this section of the forum. Not that I think I'm a great poet or writer by any means, but only because I love to do both, especailly when speaking about fishing, nature, etc. This is a poem I wrote about a year ago called the Stream of Dreams. Comments, critiques, or even criticism are welcome. Thanks for reading.

Stream of beauty,
Stream of renewal,
You are to me, a precious jewel.
I see your glory and I see your wonder;
That my cares and worries are torn asunder.
Flow down to me and flow away.
Keep me humble, but do not dismay.
Talk to me, speak with me,
I hear you, now hear me.
Hear my line cast gracefully,
My rod and arm, one entity.
A trout rises a ways downstream,
Small mayflies being sipped in the seam.
The river sparkles, glistens and gleams.
Provide for me a trout, O stream of dreams.
