Finally got some rain today, I am on my way out now to check my local streams, I have not been able to fish them due to the drought and hope they are in good condition

The same going on here. I have never been so happy to see rain.

I hope this breaks the drought and we get rain on a regular basis.

Fishing in the rain is my favorite. I have had the best days on the river while it was raining.

Made it out to my local stream and found it in good shape.



Rigged up, tied on a bomber and did my favorite thing, fishing for Wild Trout in the rain :)





Managed 2 Brookies today, the first one swam off with my fly


The fish were very active all in all it was a good day with plenty of fish brought to hand. Being I don't work in the rain I will be heading back out in a little while

Very nice stream and fish. Gotta love the rain. We had the two year drought, then a break from that, but not much of anything for the last several weeks.
