To me there is nothing better than a big brown on a small stream. Even if if I do not catch it. Just seeing it gets by blood pumping. Last year I had on the biggest brown I have ever seen in my home water. I got a really good look at him and he at me. The stream was about as wide as a two track. I put him at about 26 inches. I was spinner fishing that particular day and he ended up straightening two of the three hooks on a panter martin spinner. :o

Nice report and pics.
It's really nice to fish in cool mountain streams while others are working in artificially chilled offices in hot cities :)
