These are a few images from the Conejos area of south-central CO. It has a lot of water and does not get as much pressure as most of the other areas of CO. :shh: It is known as CO's wildest corner. And thanks to monsoon rains in July, August and September the Lodgepole Pines are still in great shape and are not decimated like the rest of the state.

Conejos River

A side channel with nice run and hole, always holds nice fish

A Brown with interesting patterns, Conejos River

Another Brown taken with a Royal Wulff

Another healthy, wild Brown

Brown; it is very interesting that fish just a few yards from each other can have such different coloration and patterns

Tobacco Lake; an alpine lake that sits at about 12,000'; not many trout left and they don't stock it anymore

Storm clouds from the monsoon building
