I have been thinking about tying up some salmon flies to experiment on our lake trout - just for fun. This one is on my list for sure and if you are so inclined I’d appreciate you sharing the recipe.

I have not fished this fly, but have no doubt that it will.
In my area the lakes that hold salmonids have a forage fish called a smelt which this fly represents. The pinkish color at a certain water depth takes on the color of the smelt.
