Hi from AZ
Hi everyone, my name is Brandon and I live in Phoenix. We have lots of small streams within about a two hour drive, my favorite of which is Oak Creek north of Sedona. It's where I caught my first trout on a fly rod almost two years ago and I still fish there probably 9 out of 10 times. I started with a 5 wt rod and now mainly use a 3 wt I bought around Christmas. Tons of fun on the small streams and relatively smaller trout we have here in AZ. I tie all my own flies, and mainly use a pattern called a SHWAPF I found on fly anglers online tied in different sizes and materials to match the bugs on Oak Creek. Here's a pic of me on my favorite section of Oak Creek:
Anyways glad to make your company and I look forward to contributing what I can and learning from more experienced fly fishers.
