    Dry Fly Brookies 2/22

The weather was nice for February, sunny with air temps about 45 degrees.

I decieded to walk a little stream I know of in Northeast CT.

The stream was spectacular, clear and crisp, with the water temp at 42 degrees.

I tied on a Bomber and with some stealth managed to bring a few of this streams little jewels up to the surface to dine.

    Enjoy,

Beautiful little jewels, looks like a great day. I'm respectfully jealous as hell.

Beautiful, stream! I am jealous that you have open water, most everything an hour to the north is still iced over.

If you are getting the weather we are, any sign of spring was covered over with a foot of snow last night...a pic from USA's smallest capital.
