Are they lake run Brookies?
No, these are not coasters. They are wild, naturally reproducing small stream brook trout living about 10 river miles and several insurmountable falls above Lake Superior. I fished this stream often as a child, and I am coming back for short visits as an old man. Events have allowed some of the trout to grow larger than expected. There are bigger ones in the stream than the one pictured, but I couldn't catch the real big ones. I'll be going back again.
