A step,or two. back in time
A few shots taken, this year, as this site was down, the camera was still clicking, days like these do add some meaning to your life, as the rest of the world turns to greed & all the madness, that this intails. A door way into a better place, where the brown trout rules, & all that maters, is casting a fly hopefully right the first time over him.
May these good days never END.
A little tricky, getting in & out of this pool, the photo looking back at it was well worth the effort.
Early morning, as the mist starts to clear off the stream, for a days, hand to hand Combat, with the trout .
Can,t help but think of the people that would have lived here at one time long back.
Also of the stories that might have been told round the open fire, with the kettle warm & bread Baking.
The delights that the little stream held.
A lustfull lush, deep green wooded glen.
Deep dark waters of this pool, where a battle took place, between rod & trout, the trout Won,
It always has me thinking at what lenght of rod, would be correct, This is a question that we all ask, but it always adds a little spice, to our way off thinking each time we fish a small stream. So many angles, to think on, each one bringing you down a different path. AAAAAAaaaaaaa, such are the Joys, of the smallstreams.
Thanks. for looking & Reading. My little bit of maddness for today.
Enjoy.

Love it! Those little streams are so similar to their cousins here in Wales. Beauties man!
That's a nice little 'boo you have there too Honda. Mind if I ask what taper that's built on, what size, etc?

Very nice.
We share the same sentiments my friend.
There is so much more to fly fishing these small waters, the trout are a plus.
Thanks
