    Sure makes me happy that Maryland has a year round season. in fact this month the state is doing their fall stocking.It's not a heavy stocking but then again you only see the die hard trout fisherman out in the winter anyway.A bunch of bamboo nuts from Clarks Classic Fly Rod Forum have an outing on the Gunpowder River in Baltimore Co. on New Years day.We call it the FYAO (Freezin' Yer Ass Off ) outing. We have a great time, meet for breakfast go fish until 3or 4 in the afternoon and then meet at a pub for sandwiches a brew or two,talk about the days fishing and the latest bamboo rod.Don't even miss the bowl games and if I did ,well that's what VCRs' are for.
