It is what it is. The scientist use it for identification, I bought mine from a Japanese web site. It gives me a few more seconds to look at the trout, take pictures without handling it. I catch the trout, net or hand and into the box, camera.
It just gives me a few more moments to be able to check the fish and have a uniform background for the identification. It also removes any "well it was about this big" :D
I like it although the images are a bit sterile, for this kind of thing, I don't mind taking away, it actually ads detail by uniformity to the identification.
