Hello from British Columbia
Hello all,
My name is Joe and I live in the Okanagan Valley in B.C. I am fairly new to fly fishing and for this reason I joined this forum to gain a bit of knowledge for stream fishing. Living in the interior we have big lakes with big Kamloops trout and wide rivers with salmon, but I prefer the beauty and solitude of stream fishing for 4 to 8 inch wild trout. So that's it for now and I am looking forward to finding out new stuff.

Yeah it is, it is just that people are always talking about steel head and salmon but never small streams. I guess the more streams to myself the better! :)
Oh and thanks for letting me on :bigthumb:

While BC is known for its lakes, we've got more small streams than you can shake a stick at. There's lots of small creeks in the hills around the Okanagan. You've even got some relict westslope cutthroat populations (native, not stocked) not too far away (Sicamous and Christina Lake areas). I'm from the lower mainland and we've got our share of little streams as well. Happy hunting.
