transit of Venus

Aloha, I don't know if everyone got to see this. We went to Kona to do some bonefishing and my brother in law, the photographer took this nice picture. There were lots of people out looking at Venus and he called and told me that Luke and I had to get to one of the scenic points and see this event. I was taking a break from fishing in the morning, got some nice bonefish. We went back to the beach after lunch and this guy with a telescope is set up right as we walk down to the sand and Luke and I got to see the "little black dot on the sun today". It was pretty cool.

Sadly here in London UK we had thick cloud .not to mention rain and a chilly breeze coming out of the Artic and it was only here for an hour or so at dawn ,so watched some online .
A great sight .
