Folks,

I participated in smallstreams.com years ago when I was in graduate school out on the Wasatch Front in Utah. I use to frequent the great small waters that roll down that front range into the Salt Lake, Utah, and Ogden valleys (as well as the 1000s of miles of great small streams in the Uintah mountains).

I am now a professor of physics at a small college in Roanoke, VA. I am enjoying getting to know small eastern waters and teaching my little girls to enjoy them as well. Happy to have "rediscovered" smallstreams.com.

Ah, physics and fly fishing, a perfect match. :)

I, too, am trying to instill a love of the outdoors and respect for nature in my little girl. She's only 15 months, so I have a "blank" slate. :D
