That's an overall fly length of about 7-8mm, should be ok. That'll be about a #20 grub hook.

The march Browns are on Varivas IWI T-2000 Terrestrial hooks #12 that I bought for tying Hawthorns, the other flies are on Varivas 2200 curved grub hooks #16... Good for scuds.
