A Streamer and a Dry 12/4
Re: A Streamer and a Dry 12/4
Really nice photographs. What an interesting little stream and fit little residents. That Conifer fruiting at this time of year is a real bonus. Pick those beauties real quick or they might spoil. Jax

Stunningly beautiful! And it's surprising you can still catch fish with dries.
What is in the bowl between the bread in the second picture from the last? Olive oil?
Re: A Streamer and a Dry 12/4
nice photos wish I was there. Its been cold here the last few days. I have to find some open water here next week. Everything around the house is just about frozen.
Re: A Streamer and a Dry 12/4
Tremendous incentive to find open water (not frozen and not closed for the season). Time to get out the maps and find those thin blue lines.

Thank you,
The bowl is olive oil with seasonings and the crusty Tuscan bread is used for dipping. Very good.
The brook trout is an opportunistic feeder and will take a dry drifted right.
As the water temps chill more they will feed closer to the bottom and not move as much.

Great pics as usual. I see you tied a yellow wing on your bombers. I am a big fan of yellow wings myself, I can see it very well and the brookies don't seem to mind.
Thanks.

Got grass?
Maybe spice your experience with a little bamboo...
But nice pictures as usual.
