Love soft hackle dry flies. I use them often on difficult fish; they sit lower and look a lot more buggy.

I haven't used them on real fish, 'cause the streams are iced pretty good. But the first chance I get I'll put them to test.

Those bring to mind a pattern much favoured recently on the upper tweed the jingler!
So any joy using them ,i am sure they worked!
