I thought I should let you guys know, Gus is about to sell it.

I want to thank Gus here for keeping the idea alive.

He made the new owner register, so I guess it's one of the newest members if you want to say hello.

Just a FYI.

I just purchased a 8-weight and am about to whip some salty critter ass. Tenkara-Fisher has become very popular and I am open to continue a version of this idea however, I'm not so sure how to go about it.

If you have any ideas, send them my way.

Its been fun but with many things in life...

Take care boys.

Adam, where will you be chasing salty critters? I've moved a bit away from the ocean now from NY to the Pocono Mountains in PA (brookies!!!) but know some spots on east coast. Email me or PM, let me know.
Mike

Sea of Cortez and Hawii this summer.

Super excited to be fly fishing again...

Ok, you guys, if I may suggest, make sure your stories are on your own computer at home. You should have been doing this in the past anyway. Find what you want and copy and paste if you have to, just make sure you have your work saved.

www.Tenkara-Fisher.com (http://www.Tenkara-Fisher.com) is where I am working, anyone here feel free to join there, just let me know. There is a "fly fishing" forum catagory there and your stories are welcome.

I personally would like to see the site continue and grow. I think it is a great resource and a lot of fun.

StreamGT, there is a lot of hard work here, please take care of it.

Welcome to the forum.

I am real sorry to hear Smallstreams will be changing hands. Gus has done a great job keeping things ticking over and deserves a Big "Thank You" for his efforts.

StreamGT; I hope things will shape up well for you in the future and the Site will prosper and grow some but not too much. The Family feel of Smallstreams is one of it's greatest assets. Have Fun.

thanks for the into, I just moved the site over to a new server and everything should be running properly. No big changes planned here, everything will be kept mostly as is. Myself and partners own some other fishing related web properties, saw this one available and decided to pick it up. Check out www.reelreports.com

thanks!

After checking out your link, I must ask, will there be that level of advertising on this site too as a result of your acquisition?
Thanks, just wondering, because I (personally) think it's obnoxious... if not, welcome and we look forward to your stewardship.

PS: this has never been that kind of place, and shouldn't be, IMHO. Despite the newer join date as a result of lost username/password stuff and server moves, I have been around here since the early days.

if we bring in ads they would only be visible to guests, if you are a member here and logged in, no ads...

Thanks gus for keeping up the site all the years I have visited here. And of course thank you adam for being my friend. Tight lines to the new owners. http://users.dakotacom.net/~jeepster/tipshades.gif
