I had the privilege of bumping into a member while Coho fishing the Clackamas river today. I'm an active member on another forum and was excited to come check out small streams. I'm a fly rookie with a Cabelas 6wt and ready to get a decent 8-9 wt for some chrome guys.

Welcome. Some beautiful Fly Fishing Country up that way. I had the opportunity while driving up to Seattle (Washington) and going through a good bit of Oregon to pass by some incredible Streams that had me slobbering a wee bit. Wanted to stop and wet a line, but with time constraints that would have to be left for another time. The Fly Fishing in the Seattle area did wet my appetite for going after Salmon and some Chromers !
