There have always been lots of great photos at smallstreams.
To that end, what do you use? Got any tips for capturing outdoor/stream photos?
My current quiver is:
Underwater Point and Shoot: When they first came out, my bride immediately got me a Pentax Optio W10.
Point and Shoot: Canon G9 (everything a DSLR can do except change lenses...)
Main DSLR: Nikon D200
Backup DSLR: D50 (still one of the most underrated DSLRs ever)
Nikon 50mm1.8
Tamron 17-50mm F/2.8 - my main, go-to. This one rarely leaves the D200.
Tamron 70-300
Various Nikon kit zoom lenses.
SB400 Speedlight
SB600 Speedlight
My tips?
Have a camera on you at all times. Heck, iPhones are at least 5 megapixel cameras these days. We don't have any excuses.
Take lots of pictures of things you like, compose well, and let the camera do the work.
