I just found these photos from my last trip to a favorite small stream in the fall of 2011.

The headwaters of a well-known stream here in northern NM.

I managed to catch a few Rio Grande Cutthroat natives and hybrids, and even remembered to take a photo of one.

I'm heading back there tomorrow to see how the stream and its fish have faired the winter and spring.
