Nice Day - No Waders

Today began a bit grey and overcast, just the odd shower during the morning.

Got weekly shopping done. Mrs M - Happy! So decided to walk the local stream, walking boots and a pair of suitable walking trousers, Oh, also took my 6ft#2, Hardy Flyweight rod and reel with me, just in case the mood struck me to do a little fishing? Well of-course I did some fishing; and the weather improved to a hot and sunny afternoon. Who needs waders when fishing a stream? water low and extremely clear; the water temprature felt warm to the touch, not sure of temp in deg's, just nice and warm-ish. Here are some photos>

Good walk and got my feet wet; kept em cool, caught lots of fish, wonderful.

That looks to be a fine stream that invites wet wading slowly from pool to pool.

That's a great looking stream - my kind of water. And the fact that it is filled with browns makes it even more appealing. Nice report.

Wet wading never hurt anyone......just a bit squelchy on the way back home ! Lovely stream & inhabitants.
