Back in Race

Since diggers ruined one of my favourite streams last year, I've been looking for a new one.

Half an hour by car, we found a beautiful stretch. Now we ( 4 more buddies and me) are asked to manage the fishery for the next twelve years.

A short father & son trip was the opening.

Rainy Buckle Head offered a hard drill. After netting and taking a photo we released him.

Five minutes later, I had a take in the same pool. What a surprise, Rainy Buckle Head was back again. ;-)

I think that fish has some sort of short term memory loss, being caught again so soon after being given its freedom.
