Cutthroat or Gila Trout in February?

I'm going to be travelling through New Mexico in early February. Are there any spots where I might be able to get into Gila Trout or Rio Grande cutthroat? Would these water even be open? Any suggestions on flies? PM me if you don't want your post available to the world.

From one egg to another egg, early Feb. has passed. Did you get a chance to fish for RGCT and/or GT ???????

No I didn't. I had meetings in Salt Lake City which got delayed a day, so I had to rush out of Utah to get down to Texas. I did get to wet a line at a favored spot in SE Oregon though. One of these days I'll have more than just a day to explore and I'll get to fish some of those SW streams.
