Found this one on my harddrive from this summer. It's my friend filming me with his phone fishing a small spring creek. There's a trout being caught near the ending ;)

Very beautiful small stream. Not too bad for a cell phone cam (lol). So what did you catch that trout on (pattern) ?

I think it was taken on an iPhone, hence the very shaky picture :) It was during the Danica season, so it was on a Danica imitation - well, actually I think the pattern is a Hexagenia imitation, but it's the most effective Danica imitation I've used so far, don't know the name of it :) Looks like this:

Great video! Great to see that the iPhone takes such good quality video. I am going to shoot some video's on my new iPhone that has 1080 HD.

Zanko, the new iPhone 4s even has image stabilizing, so you have something to look forward to :)

Martin, pictures are always great, but seeing your stream right there in 720 really makes me feel right there. Actually being able to hear the birds, the casting action, and the overall environment is priceless.

I do look forward to the image stabilization, but it might be awhile since Apple has my phone on back order even though I per-ordered it a week ahead.

Impressive video. Thank you for posting.
I've never fished such spring creeks before. It seems difficult to fish such a calm water.

Satoshi, it is quite difficult to fish those streams on calm days. The fish can be quite spooky. But this was in the Ephemera Danica season where fish are pretty careless - they only seem to think about eating mayflies and not about bad fly casting and presentation.

I shot a few other videos that day; I put them in below in case somebody wants to get another glimpse of where I fish.

A Mayfly drifting and being eaten by a trout - at the exact moment I choose not to film the spot:

martin,
Thank you for the videos. I enjoyed them very much.
Casting against such wind seems difficult.
Is the mayfly on the water in the second video E. danica? It's a big bug!

Satoshi, yes, the bug in the second video is the Ephemera Danica. The biggest mayfly we have here :)
