One last session before our season ends here.....just a quicky.
Weather forecast for Thurs & Friday looked good. Rain clearing, Sunny & Frost.
The river levels for my favourite creek looked perfect, just under metre. :thumbup:
I set the alarm for midnight so i could travel down south & be on a new stream first thing in the morning.
New creek first up...running high wide & dirty. Still managed to catch a few off the main current.

Stinging nettles were everywhere along the banks, my shins are all itchy & scratchy just thinking about them.

Then a leisurely afternoon drive, heading for a camp ground & good nights sleep......

....& a room with a view, sleeping bag & bivvy bag in the back of the ute, roughing it..... man was i tired & to lazy to pitch the tent !

The news was the same in this area too.....apparently the rivers & creeks had doubled over night. :scared:
