Anybody know about a F-1 track going in at Austin?

I just watched the Italian Gran Pre F-1 (Ferrari win on Ferrari home track) and it was so cool...

F-1 racing is exciting, I'll be going to the Austin American race if that is really happening.

It's for real... Lots of hubbub about it here, pro and con, but it's a go.

Interesting. Surprised to hear there's enough demand to substantiate an F-1 track. Not something mainstream America has picked up on. Very cool regardless. My father raced (quarter-mile drag) stock cars, not apples to apples, but I've always had a respect for all forms of motorsport.

Racing, competition brings out performance.

An F-1 race epitomizes the automobile experience for me.

I will attend a race in Austin as a friend of mine here in Phoenix is helping me to follow the sport.

The POV cameras from the cockpit in an F-1 race are amazing. Everything about the race is interesting, the tires, the construction of the car, the tracks, the series of races around the world, the teams, the drivers themselves, I enjoy it very much.
