I fished a class 1 wild trout stream early Sunday morning. I arrived in darkness to take advantage of the low light and to be able to fish before the dog walkers got there and put the stream residents into hiding for the day.

Water temps were 60 degrees, and the woods were kind of spooky, and very quiet.

I fished a Bombed pattern dry and was rewarded quickly and often.

Enjoy the early morn,

Wild Browns,

And in a very likely looking spot, that might hold a nice brown,

Can almost breath the cool moist earthy morning air.....

Will have to try that bomber pattern for myself,
when I get the chance. Two more w/ends before our season
here in Oz(NSW) is all over rover.

Eery post...with fine rewards.
Good stuff.

I've never seen pictures of trout streams like these.
Mysterious and beautiful!
