The reels are from left to right an Orvis CFOlll made by Hardy of England bought in the late 70s, a Laurentian Dry Fly #1 made by Lawson Machine Works ,Canada made in the 50's,a Hardy Featherweight that I won at a TU banquet in the mid 70s and the far right is a Montague 60yard made in 1912.That reel is full with only 10 yards of backing and 1/2 of a DT 3wt. which really is more than ample for the small streams it will be fished on.Besides Montague,Pflueger,Hendryx and Cozzone all made reels back in that era with the nickel silver rims and black hard rubber(or sometimes ebonite) sideplates. They were all trying to copy the look of the early Vom Hofe reels.
