That area I prospected the other day paid off.

I fished some of the streams today and was rewarded well.

The air temps were hot about 85 or so, with the water temps at 56 degrees.

The trout were agressive slamming wet flies.

Enjoy,

Holy Cow! You've struck GOLD!!!!!
Those are some of the most beautiful brookies I've ever seen!
Hope you run into a rainbow in the mix someday. :)
Any browns in there?
Also, any other fisherman?
I have to take care of the pup Sunday and work while my wife heads off on a biz trip or else I'd check it out.
The scenery looks incredible, a little slice of small stream heaven!

Great stuff!

As a western US flyfisher I always have lots of public land to choose from. I wonder what the land ownership situation is out east. Is that beautiful stream on state land, Forest Service, private, or something else?

Very vibrant colors on those healthy guys! A beautiful stream and fish. Glad your prospecting paid off so well, especially the dinner reward at the end of the day.

That particular stream is on State Land, and will not recieve a lot of pressure because of the dificulty in access.

Most streams I fish are both on state and private land.

Most streams on private land can be accesable by just taking the time to ask permission, and respect of the land.
