I am gearing up for tying and I need an online resource that you guys do business with (U.S.A. for postage sake) know and trust. Heck, go ahead and list EU if you care, may help someone across the pond.

I need just about everything, hooks (am partial to Tiemco and Mustad), feathers, thread, cement, all that.

A web (URL) link would be much appreciated and even who to speak with.

Thanks.

Lakeland fly tying in the UK carries good quality materials and would be good for stuff that might not be so easy to get in the US, Pearsalls silks etc. They also do postage worldwide for £2.50.

Nigel is the guy that owns the place.
Loads of other places over here that are good but you'd get most of the stuff they sell easier from nearer home.

I have used Feathercraft and American Flyfishing Company. Both have a good selection of materials. Each is easy to locate through Google. Feathercraft even carries Pearsall's silk, to my surprise, but limited colors.

I know some folks who order from J Stockard Fly Fishing and also Hook n Hackle. No bad comments on either.

Check shipping costs, some are free if over a certain amount is ordered; others increase shipping as the amount ordered increases. Sometimes it's mind boggling!

I've used JStockard's several times. The shipping is pretty quick and the materials are quality. Their website is http://www.jsflyfishing.com/.

Stone River Outfitters are good for getting klinkhamer hooks, anyone know a US supplier of Partridge hooks.
Mad River Outfitters are quite good, free delivery on orders over $25.

Here's a couple I've bought from in the past. www.charliesflybox.com (http://www.charliesflybox.com)
They are in Denver Co. Another would be www.mrfc.com (http://www.mrfc.com). They are in Ennis Montana. I've also bought from Dan Bailey's in Livingston Montana. I don't remember the web site.
Blue Quil Angler in Evergreen Co.

Since Stone River Outfitters just got mentioned I'll chime in here :)

I've never ordered online from Stone River, since lucky for me they're a 10 minute drive from my parents house. I will say they are a great shop, they carry a lot of good quality stuff, and their customer service is impeccable. The guys that run the place are very knowledgeable and passionate about fly fishing and fly tying. If any of you ever get the chance you should stop by.

However, I don't they're always the most economical place to shop if you're looking for a deal.
