Followers of the previous incarnation of the board may have seen some trash we pulled from south Londons river Wandle.
With the help of varoious folks and Trout in the Classroom its on its way back .

What an accomplishment! I had no idea that Trout in the Classroom spanned across the big pond. Though I have not been involved in the program here (I know--shame on me), it has been a huge success in education and spawning young people's interest in the trout to include habitat, conservation, and, of course, fishing/catch and release.

Great news for all the London anglers!

Thanks guys! For anyone with a proper breeding population of wild trout in their own river, even in a city centre, this may not seem like much... but to us it's pretty big.

Yes, Trout in the Classroom has come a long way: what a great original idea by TU, and even though its main purpose is educational, you can see how it's quite an effective stocking programme too!
