I fished one of CT's class 1 WTMA's yesterday.

The stream has a self sustaining population of wild brook and brown trout.

The rains of the past days did well to move the trout around.

The stream was clear with a water temp of 44 degrees.

Please enjoy,

There is beauty along a trout stream,

This little guy loved the streamer as it moved over his cover,

A crystal environment,

A sign of Spring in the Northeast,

The water along this stone produced several small browns,

I tied this Wulff variation using a charteuse calftail wing, for better visability,

Looks like spring has sprung in certain parts of the US.
Delightful little stream..crystal clear flowing water, new spring growth, & pretty Brookies coming to hand. Nice pics.

Don't forget to keep the occasional report coming, as we in Oz, bunker down for the fast approaching closed season, which is just around the corner. The posts keep the coals burning until our season reopens again.....

Great shots - Your first looked like "lobster mushrooms" growing?
