I've been snowed under with all kinds of crap at work for the past few months and haven't posted much here (or anywhere else for that matter!) but hopefully things are going to settle down now.
To get back into the swing of things I had a play with some Irish Mayflies...
Silver Drake, Carra May and one from my infertile mind!

Very, very pretty! Are you heading to Ireland for the annual mayfly bonanza scotfly? Please do not pass through the Northern region without dropping by...!

Sadly no, Andy. It was just a case of I've never tied this style before and wanted to give them a go. I found them great fun to tie an very pretty to look at. Though I have been reliably informed that the hackles are too long, I'll rectify that when I do some more.
