There are many boards and forums across the net on which to post flies... smallstreams is the natural home of the midge. This took four applications of Sally Hansen's Hard As Nails to build a slick body profile.

Yep! Not much to it. Cord the thread TIGHT to rib, form head and build the lacquered body. Some hours later they morph in to these... :cool:

Very cool Andy. I like that a lot... or I should say Like those a lot.

How's the red on the hook in the first fly?? I've heard bad things about the colour coming off the Jardine ones.. Those any better? It looks like a nice hook.

jim - I've been using those red hooks for quite a few years now w/out any problems. they're cool and I wish I had more of them.
