It was a warm November day, the little stream was low and clear with water temps at 52 degrees.

I fished a Bomber and managed to bring a few wild brookies to the surface.

BEAUTIFUL STREAM!

What do you think of the St Croix Avid? I assume it's a small light line version! I have a 9,ft-er for the River Usk, #5,weight. I love it!

The Avid is a great little stream rod.
My rod is a 6ft 3wt and works well in the tight areas of some of the brushy areas of some other streams I fish.
