I had a few hours today to do some fishing.

The stream was beautiful and a few wild browns cooperated.

Please enjoy,

Can't believe that your stream is on the other side of the big pond.
Vegitation and fishes are so similar to the region I live. It's amazing.
Only brookies are missed or stocked in our streams.

Looking foreward to your 'winter posts'

terry,

The CT season in general is from the third Saturday in April until the last day of February.

Class 1 Wild Trout Management Streams are single hook artificials, catch and release, and our open year round.

Nice photos from a beautiful area! A little surprised you don't have a closed season, while the wild ones are Spawning!

Here in the UK, there is a closed season on all wild trout streams and rivers, from September 17th, until the 5th of March!

our streams (well most of them) are C&R with Barb less Hook flies etc.
