Jax, the "MultiMinnie" is built on a 2/0 hook with 30lb. fluoro to the "wingers". Doubt it would ever tangle but will never know for sure 'cause I'm not dumb enough to try and cast that monster. ;)

If I find the time I'll post some flies by 2 outstanding Oregon tyers, Dave Roberts and Mike Brooks. They gifted me some truly lovely flies this past Summer.
